Accessibility Statement
We build for every patient, including the ones using a screen reader.
Last updated: 27 August 2026
Our commitment
Healthcare practices serve people of every age and ability. A website that a patient cannot read, navigate by keyboard, or use with a screen reader is failing part of the community it exists for. We take that seriously, both on this site and on every site we build.
What we aim for
We build toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. In practice that means:
- Text that meets contrast requirements against its background
- Every meaningful image carrying descriptive alternative text
- Forms with properly associated labels, so screen readers announce them correctly
- Full keyboard navigation with a visible focus indicator
- Headings in a logical order, so assistive technology can navigate the page
- Motion that respects the reduced-motion setting on a visitor's device
- Layouts that work when text is enlarged
Why it matters beyond good practice
Healthcare websites are public accommodations
Courts have applied Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act to the websites of businesses open to the public, and healthcare practices fall squarely within that. Complaints commonly involve inaccessible booking forms, PDF intake forms that screen readers cannot parse, missing image descriptions and insufficient contrast.
We are not a law firm and nothing here is legal advice. No tool or vendor can certify a website as compliant. What we can do is build to the recognised standard and fix issues when they are found.
Known limitations
Some parts of a website are outside our direct control — embedded scheduling tools, third-party review widgets and map embeds are built by other companies and may not fully meet the standard. Where that happens we look for an accessible alternative or provide another way to complete the same task, such as a phone number beside an embedded booking widget.
Tell us if something doesn't work
If you have trouble using this site, or a site we built, we want to hear about it. Email Team@ORISVO.com with the page and what happened, and we will respond and work to fix it.
